Death Valley, California has many records:

·         Hottest place on earth (134°F/56.7°C

·         Largest national park in the continental U.S.  (3.4+ million acres)

·         Lowest point below sea level in North America (-282 feet/86 meters)

·         Less than 2 inches of average rainfall per year

Some of the places we will stop:

·        * Dante's View – At 5,475 ft. (1,669 m.), the most breathtaking viewpoint in the park.  With Telescope Peak to the west and a birds-eye view of Death Valley and Badwater Basin, the panoramic scenery is spectacular.

·        * Zabriskie Point – Rock formations that have severely eroded through millions of years is one of the calling cards of Death Valley.  The badlands have such a unique landscape that it makes you feel you are on another planet.

·        *  Artists Drive – This drive consists of many colors just like an Artist’s Palette.  The rock formations were created by metal oxidation and explosive volcanic times.

·         * Devil's Golf Course – This large salt-pan on the floor of Death Valley was a huge bed of water that evaporated over 2000 years ago and what is left are rough sharp salt crystals hence, “only the devil could play here on this surface.”

·         * Badwater Basin -  This is the lowest point below sea level in North America (-282 feet or 86 meters).  Take a souvenir photo and walk on the salt flats – a bucket list must.

·        *  Furnace Creek Visitors’ Center – This air-conditioned center has informative videos, materials, and placards, as well as friendly Rangers.

This is what draws the curiosity of many to this unique landscape and climate. Death Valley has been described as "all the advantages of hell without the inconveniences."

Make this bucket list day a memorable one!  So just sit back, relax, and enjoy your One Day Tour with us!
